Image comparison under Dot Net

I am looking for the following solution for a
customised project under .NET

My database (consists of insurers signatures) and
other details.

Based on some parameters at our end, we shortlist
some signatures.( 25 to 50 signatures out of N number).
From this shortlisted signatures, a scanned signature
need to be compared and bring up near match signatures
with comparison percentage

Images would be of BMP format

This is not a simple question that can be answered in a small textbox - it is a major project.

Start with Google: signature comparison c#[^] - probably none of those will help you directly, but they should lead to sites where you will start to find out if not exactly what you want then the direction to take to get there.

But don't expect this to be a ten minute job: it is not.
