Bind ListView By Selected Value of DropDownList in Ajax Post Method

hi i am wondering if it is possible to bind the Asp.net List View on the behalf of selected value of data bound dropdownlist by using Ajax Post Method without any post back...

i have Searched over internet but don't find any useful information.. if some one share his knowledge or any hints it would be very appropriated
