Decodificacion de codigo QR en php

Alguien sabe como puedo decodificar codigo QR? , tengo la imagen en el servidor,se supone la llamo atravez de una consulta y debera retornarme la informacion que guarda el qr.

la mayoria de lectores de qr son en java, .net, android, encontre que desde php se puede generar la imagen pero casi no hay informacion de como leerla.

gracias, muy amable! me tocara revisar las respuestas en mi casa =) por que esta maquina todo tiene restringido U.u. es una gran limitante. por eso preferia una libreria o algo asi.

Is it Nicaraguan Spanish? :-) I mean, I am starting to understand it, even though I can recognize less than half or words and cannot speak any dialect of Spanish. :-)
