I write html form like -

ASP.NET

    <form id="form1"  runat="server">       
        
            Name            
            <input id="name" type="text" name="userName" />         
            Email            
            <input id="email" type="text" name="userEmail" />        
            Message            
            <textarea id="message" cols="20" rows="4" name="userMessage"></textarea>        
            <input id="sendMessage" type="button" value="Submit" />    
    </form>
</body>

Now I want to write fuction for sending email using smtp crenditials.when i double click on button onclick event is generated on same page no code behind file event is generated and how to send parameters to that function using javascript.please

Anyone help me.

Sending mail directly from client side is not a very good idea. Do you have access to any server-side technology?
