Unable to insert a SQL server for Visual Basic 2005

When I tried to insert a SQL server database in Visual Studio 2005, it prompt me this message :

"Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance. The connection will be closed."

Can anyone help?

urm no, i was trying to put a SQL server database in but when it prompts me that msg. No coding done yet. Even when i open a new project and put the database in, the same message pop out too.

Do you mean you tried to insert a record into a SQL server database? Are you coding in C#, VB? Can you show your code and determine which line of code is actually throwing the error?
