how to connect mvc with oracle

i need to connect mvc4 with oracle database through Entity Framework.But after selecting entityframewok in visualstudion,when i m clicking on new connection at that time odbc option or any oracle database option is not displaying,wheather i have already installed the oracle database in my system.pls tell me for which reason this problem is occuring

Solution 1

You can try to make the connection string a string to Oracle, but I'm not sure it is supported. EF creates SQL on the fly, it would not surprise me if they have focused on doing that for SQL Server.
