I would like to know how can I build or create a website? What is the best platform to use?

I also checked websitesetup.org and it recommends me to use WordPress, Drupal and/or Joomla.

But what do you suggest???

Begin your hands with basic html. visit w3schools.com to find in hand code and easy to understand description with examples. drupal and joomla are advanced technology.
