A div container that holds images and is controlled by swipe event from jquery

I'm trying to make two div containers having 40 images each.
A primary div gallery where the swipe interaction will be performed by the user and the other div which is just for output.

Is there some single code for making this page work for all screens such as phones, pc etc.
Plz help
