html format to normal text

Hi everybody,
I have a column in a table which has data in HTML format. I want to retrieve this data and display it in normal text in grid view or any other control.

Can anybody suggest how can i do it.

Are you trying to strip the HTML tags and show plain text ?

I want something that can convert my table field content which is in HTML form into normal text. If fiels has table tag than it should display table in grid view
