Web Based File Manager to Upload and Retrive Documents

Hi...
I'm trying to develop a web based File Manager using ASP .Net 2008. Looking sample example which can help me to get an idea to proceed. Through this File Manager, basically I would like to Upload files to application server and also want to include the functionality to read the document/creating folder/user grants etc.

Is there anyone, who can help me through providing idea or providing sample example.
