File Handling. How to open files by C# code.

How to open that excel file which is uploaded through upload control.
Can i also take heading-columns of that uploaded excel by coading without opening excel and without using Database also in C#?

Kindly give also namespaces which i have to use.
Kindly give URL from that i can understand to work on files.

Solution 1

The Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel[^] namespace is your starting point.
There's also a Howto[^] on that topic.
