How do I delete the values of the One table on the basis of the values of another table ?

I want delete all values of the table1 on the basis of the perticular column in the table2 which is not common in both tables . the common field between these two tables is REQ_ID ,
so How do I achieve this .

Solution 1

Use SUBQUERY

Something like

SQL

DELETE FROM table1
WHERE REQ_ID NOT IN
  (SELECT REQ_ID FROM table2)
