login form to access only current user data in the main form in vb 2012

Hi...i wanted to create a login form to access data for current user only in the main form.There are 3 fields in the login form ie username-combobox,position-combobox and password-textbox.If the user logged in,he/she can only access his/her own records based on the position field which is a Datagridviewcolumn1 in the main form.Appreciate for your advice on this matter? Thanks a lot.
