I am getting error while sending mails through the DBMAIL(SQL 2005)

Message

The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 1 (2014-05-19T05:01:04). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.).

Please help me on this.

As the message states, you need to check the email address you are sending it to.

Hi,

We didn't gave a valid email id on E-mail address and reply-email columns.
After giving the valid mail ids the DBMAIL working fine.

Thanks,
Sree.

I guess Andrius was referring to my comment there. Here at CP, we would prefer (at least I would) if you add [Solved] to subject of your question and then update the question with solution. You can then remove this solution.

No. It doesn't work like that. The questions including answer doesn't make much sense.

It worked for me after I added the recipient email id.
