How to be a hacker?

I am a programmer from China. I read a number of foreign hackers feel cool and I like to know more? I only saw Petzold's "Windows Programming". Is there a way for me to become a hacker as soon as possible with access to programming knowledge?

Solution 1

I am assuming that you mean you want to become a good programmer. The Petzold book is very good, if you want to program in the hardest language ( C++ ), the hardest possible way ( without MFC ). If you want to become a programmer, I suggest starting with C#, and buying a book and working through it.
