Can not run service of SQL Server 2005

When I start running the service of SQL Server I get an error message that say "The request failed or the service did not respond in a timely fashion. Consult the event log or other applicable error logs for details."

Please tell me, how do I solve the problem?

Did you consult the event logs, etc ? I've had to reinstall SQL Server to make it work, before.
