hey guys!
i'm working my senior project where i have to control a robotic arm through the kinect sensor.. the problem is that i have to find out a program which set some instructions (for some specific hand gestures) to the robotic arm programatically(without buttons or sliders) and without arduino programming.. does anybody know any program to do this..

There are so-o many robot architectures and their combinations based on different hardware standards, motion systems and so on. I never dealt with Arduino, but a person who was buying it told me that people mostly use it for hobby projects. I work with a good number of robotic settings and did not even hear about Arduino implementations so far. (Even though I know about Lego-based systems...) That makes the "without Arduino" requirement somewhat weird: nearly everything is "without Arduino".

Isn't this question off-topic, despite the tag "programming"? It might be. If you are just looking for some ready-to-use software product, sorry, this is not a product-finding service.
I am not sure if you are settled with hardware or not. By your own words, you have "kinect sensor", which is just a sensor. I have no idea what do you have for motion system, logic, control, and other aspects of robot functionality. But if you are looking for an advice of some certain hardware settings, it would also be off-topic. Besides, we don't know your requirements, class of the system, problems to be solved...
