How do I connect my c# winform app to a remote server

hi friend
working on a school management software for long now, app is completed with SQL server as the database. now my client wants the software to work online and not on a LAN given me reason that the cost of managing a LAN is higher than the internet, i don't have any idea how to go about this, as this is my first app. please i need help and suggestions.

"help and suggestions" for what exactly? Did you have a specific question or problem that you could not find an answer for using a simple google search?

Solution 1

I don't think you can get hosting for free...but you can look into bluehost or godaddy for database host for small monthly amount.
