How do I write my own html code in my blog

Hi..I want to create my own blog and design it in my own style...I found that there is an option that Edit HTML but i am un able to edit it in my own style....How can i design my blog like normal web site???

Hi peter..Blog means google provides an option that blogger..And i didn't mention a word 'provider'..Any way thanks for paying intrest on my question if you understand my problem then i hope you will post an answer....
