How do I merge a green screen photo with a regular photo using VB2008?

The first photo is a picture of a person taken on a green screen background. The second photo is a regular scenery. Now, I want to merge the 2 photos to make 1 new photo. The color green of the first photo will be wiped away and just the picture of the person will be used.

Solution 1

I don't do a lot of work with images, but I'd guess the easiest way would be to set the transparent color of the "green screen" image to the correct green. Then do something like what this article [^] has done.
