I'm getting an error that a button or calender or label does not exist in the current context.

You need to add more details on what you are saying. We arn't mind readers.
BTW: the error is self explainatory, you are trying to access controls that are not in scope/context

Then create it.

We need more information, but have you named it and declared it correctly?
