According to a survey 80% of the applications in the world are database related. Similarly I want to know the percentage of web applications with respect to windows applications (If any survey has been conducted)?

Solution 1

There is absolutely no way to know. If I write 5 apps, and use them, how will you know to add them to your list ? Who knows how many internal apps BHP has, or US Bank, or anyone else ? It's not a reasonable question to ask.
