Sharepoint hosted app - create a content type in host web

I am using asphostportal to host my Sharepoint 2010 website.
From a SharePoint hosted app, I want to add a list and a content type to host web - not app web.

Please tell me how can I do so, I looked at several resources - none say anything about content type?

SharePoint 2010 website? and you want to have app working on it? Please clear your question first. SharePoint 2010 doesn't support app model. How you will deploy on it?
