I know The Finger print reader can be used directly in windows application.
when i am applying in the web application i cant do it.please tell if it is possible? Are there any other ways to do

Well, that will depend on the SDK that you finger print scanner provided. Check the SDK documentation to get your answer.

How will the reader be connected? If it's at the server, then the users will not be able to access it. If it's at the client you will need one device for every user.
