Problem with Facebook .net SDK FriendPicker

I'm trying to follow the Facebook c# SDK Friend Picker example at

http://facebooksdk.net/docs/phone/controls/friendpicker-ui-control

The Login button works fine and the profile picture loads ok, but no friends show up :( Any ideas ?

Any exceptions? Have you caught them?

You'll need to post the relevant code and any errors. But I'd first suggest contacting facebook.

No errors or exceptions. It's a third party SDK and I can't find a reliable point of contact to ask the question. Could it be that there is something in my own FB permissions that is keeping my friends hidden such that the SDK friend control bindings return no data ?
