Writting contents of a DataGridView to XML for PDF Generation.

Hey guys, i'm currently doing a project that I want to create PDF's from the contents of a datagridview. Basically I will be creating invoices for a given time frame provided by the user. The functionality I am using to create the PDF's take an XML file and that sets the column info. I want to be able to create the XML document on the fly from whatever the data is in the grid so I can then generate my PDF. Any suggestions or if anyone has a better way please feel free to advise.
