How can i display in a dropdownlist more than 3 values?any custom built dropdownlist facility available or what exactly i need to use to do this,

I could not understand the problem, do you want to three different display values ?
if so then you can combine the 3 into one and then display it in the drop down list.

This is not an ASP .NET question. You may have more luck asking in the Web Development board, however, I can make a suggestion. If what you are wanting is to embed a movie into a web page, I suggest you look into creating flash movies. The free Riva FLV encoder creates .flv (flash video) files from an .avi and then you can use the open source FlowPlayer to actually embed the movie in a web page. Hi all,
I am new to asp.net, therefore not sure if this is achieveable. This web application will need to serve both intranet and extranet users.
For intranet, users log in to their machines (AD accounts) as per normal and when they open up the web application, system will check for the windows logon and let them thru (was thinking of using WindowsIdentity/WindowsPrincipal).
As for extranet users, system will redirect them to a login page which will capture their credentials and authenticate against user information stored in DB.
I have tried setting the authentication to Integrated Authentication in IIS which achieves the intranet authentication but it fails when it comes to extranet, as without (integrated) login credentials from extranet, users will be prompted the windows login dialog which the system has no control over it to authenticate users against DB.
Any help will be appreciated... Thanks...

1) Turn the NT Auth off in IIS. If this is on, the external users will always get a login.
2) Use Request.LoginIdentity instead. For IntraNet users this should be populated the first time in. If not then tell people to make the site Trusted. If this is empty string then you can redirect them to your login page.

Loop out the grid and check to "Checked" check boxes if found then push whole row into the dattable.

There is no combo box. I suppose that you mean a dropdown list, i.e. a select element?
How many items that is shown in the list is chosen by the browser, and nothing that is defined in html.

Use listbox rather than going to commbo box/ drop down list.
If u want to show only 5 element then set the height accordigly.

Do you want to delete a particular row in datagrid? If so then you can use itemcommand event for that, there you can write the code to delete the record and again rebind the datagrid.

What to write in where condition???

Look there are multiple ways to do that one is you loop through all the number of records to be deleted and execute the delete statement.
second one is you send alll the id as a comma separated value to the query like this:
delete from table1 where id in (1,7,43,7)
