How to upload image to my folder on the other side image path and image name should enter to database using 3 tier architecture

hi friends
i need to insert images to my folder and at the same time i should insert the path and image name to the database.. using object

that is

sqlcommand cmd = new sqlcommand();
cmd.parameter.addwithvalue("@PimagePath", c.ImagePath);
cmd.parameter.addwithvalue("@PimageName", c.ImageName);



c is a object in class product

how to assign to objects please help me
is there any other way using 3 tier architecture only...
