while installing .msi package created by me in another system, i am getting HRESULT -2147024770.unable to register the dll Contact your support personnel.Please anyone help me out resolve this problem.

Solution 1

Open an administrative command window. Start the installation with msiexec and log the output to a file

MSIEXEC /i mypackage.msi /l*v mylogfile.txt

and anaylse that output. It might give you further information where exactly the problem occurs.
