You need to see the difference between Windows and Web application.
Based on your requirement, you cannot use the windows message box as its client based. (the way it works in windows applications!)
you need to develop a server custom control for it if you really need something similar.
Better would be divide your codebase in such a fashion that you can use client side Windows confirm messagebox and based on the option selected execute code accordingly.

Hi  ,
I inserted images successfully in MS-access database using Fileupload server control, but i m unable to retrieve all images from database in datalist control which contain image and hyperlink server control in ItemTemplte and i used this select query.
"Select picture, name from gallery "
and i don't wana parametrized query, bcoz i wana show all images.

Hello All,
We have a scenario to get the screenshot and export it to PDF. I would like to know the process to take the screenshot/Thumbnail of the asp.net image. I found some third party dlls, but Forms Authentication causes the issue with them. With the third party dlls, if we give any url directly to the dll, its getting the thumbnail of the login page as it will be redirected to login.
Our Scenario:
---------------
We will have multiple pages in our Asp.Net web application. On every page we have export button. When the export button is clicked, the screenshot/thumbnail of the current page should be taken and save as image.
Can anybody shed some light on this scenario and let me know if the solution found.

I dont think forms authentication will be a issue here..!
Make ths dll url to give access add the configuration in web.config file
Give the dll to access to all the pages..!

Hi all,
I using visual studio 2005 and SQl server 2005, and every thing run will. when i installed Visual studio 2008 and make code for connection to sqlserver 2005 an error box raise shows this error:
system.data.sqlclient.sqlexception login failed for user 'DomainName\User' ... .
Any body have an idea to solve this problem. thanks in advanced

the username and password which are given in the connection string is wrong..!
This is a basic error.
type the user name and password in the sql server management studio..!

I told you same code exactly was written in visual studio 2005 , and successfully make a connection. there is no error in my connection string. by the way, the security type is integrated security=true. and what you told me about username and password it is true, i mean it doesn't work in sql server management studio. so any idea.

The connection now is working under windows XP, but still not working under windows 7, maybe the prolem in windows 7 Compatibility or need some updates.

Hi,
I am using Excel objects in my application.When i am trying to create an object for excel object i am getting the following error.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80080005): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005
The same code is working fine on devolopment machine. But after publish the site on PreProd i am getting the above error.

You don't have MS Office installed on your PrePod.
Apart from Interop DLL, you would need MS Office to be installed on the server.

when the end dates comes before ten days we have to remind him that your contract is left for 10 days only. for every 2 days he should get the reminder . when the date ends then he should get the message that you are not in contract how to do this.

There are several ways to accomplish this Like
-Create a windows service which check the databse and send the mails accordingly to all.
- Create a exe which which check the databse and send the mail and schedule this exe to a specific time daily in windows scheduler.
