Hi,
How can i get a list of yahoo and Google groups searched on the basis of some keyword.Is there an API to achieve my task??Please mention if there is a way to do so.thanx

Both Yahoo and Google provide developer interfaces, you should consult the documentation from each.

i need to search Google and yahoo groups by giving some keyword and then display these relevant groups to keyword in my application.i want to do all this searching operation on my own application,so is there an API or any code that can be used to do so.

There i found answer like any API for groups is not available,and please tell me if API is not available then what else can be done?

Well let me think: they don't provide an API for groups, so you cannot get them. Unless, you know a way to list them direct from the websites, in which case you write a screen scraper to capture the web page and extract them from it.
