designing listview on vb2010

hi is there a way to design listview on windows forms only? not on wpf.. i have been wanting to design my listview like ones on media player and itunes.. but i dont think that im gonna be able to make one.. or if its posible to use other controls for that?? tnx..

What exactly do you mean by design? I feel WPF has the design part nailed, if you want to design it to the nth degree and have complete control over it there is no better option.

just for example for having sorted listview.. and also for inserting pictures to listview subitems etc, and also for grouping... is that posible for just an ordinary listview?? or is there any listview add-ons out their that is capable of having those that i have mentioned?

Most likely, you are right. Judging just by your question, I think that designing of the alternative of customized list view class in either WPF or System.Windows.Forms is quite possible (not doubt at all!), but you personally are pretty far from being ready for such relatively complicated problems. It will come with hard work.

Sorry, but validity of my estimate is inherently very low, as you provided very little information on your background. If it turns out that I strongly underestimated your skills, I would be only very glad.
