Please tell me, you are not developing medical software. Knowing, that people that have no clue about what they do and don't know, how to do some research, are developing software in critical areas like medicine makes my stomach hurt.

Solution 1

Well, first you would need to have an API for the ultrasound scanner that you were using. Without that, you won't have any way to know how to communicate with it.
