Can I ask that you check back when it's no longer beta? It could be a known glitch.
(it's way too hard to work around beta issues in browsers - sorry)

Hi there,
I have been looking for this for a while now - a way to turn off the little red notification that appears in the top right corner of CP when you have a message. I mean off so that it never appears in the first place - I've worked out how to mark it as read to get it to disappear... If it's not possible, can I suggest an options in Settings somewhere that turns these them off?
Thanks very much,
Ed

Pete has already complained vociferously about this. I'll add it to the TODO.

It's about a week that I can not see my reputation chart. it doesn't load anymore.
I find out that I can't see any user's reputation chart.

you have no rep to protect?

Now I am sure that there is a bug or something like that; because I have.

What do you mean by saying "you have no rep"?
Why no one cares?

I used the joke icon to indicate an attempt to be funny. I see that I have failed, yet again.
I'm sure that if something is really wrong with the rep graph, then Chris and company will look into it. It probably is not a high priority issue, perhaps?

I am still waiting.
When its priority turn come?

After posing this "challenge" to a poster on the C# forum [^]: the thought came into me noggin' that it would be interesting to have a forum for such "challenges."
Of course, one could easily say that QA, and the forums, already are proper venues for any type of challenge
Just a stray thought.

http://projecteuler.net/ is a neat site; thanks for mentioning it!
I agree that a forum rich with such problems would be very enticing. Similar problems have been put in the Lounge before, but they quickly get lost in the rest of the Lounge clutter. A new forum may even attract a few new users.

I love the idea and I've tried it, but it's not really caught on.
Suggestions?

Rama used to post those Friday programming quiz threads, and those threads were hugely popular among... er... me.
I think instead of creating a forum for that, we could have a sticky thread on the lounge once every week. Clicking on the problem will take the user to a new thread (like the survey does) where discussions can happen.
No prizes may be needed, but we can maintain statistics and that will be fun. Users can submit their solutions as code.
This is still a rough idea, and may need a lot of cleaning up though, but my 2 cents.
