I have confirmed it. "Nel.ek" is not allowed.
So it is the "."
And "phil_o"?

It will be @phil_o, then. Thanks

maybe asking @phil-o politely?
or any CP Staff to see who is he? If it is a nuked user, they could release and let you as the only "phil-o"
EDIT: Almost 17 years membership and no activity? Weird...

Has the number of votes required to kill a spam article changed recently? I thought it was five, but this is still alive on 7 at the moment:

Not the first time, it previously was due to timing / cache problems
EDIT: Another possibility... there are a revision 4[^] as draft and a revision 5[^] as pending. When I reported rev. 5, it was the #1
Maybe it is ignoring the 7 reports because of the following version?

... I still don't get notifications in Q/A when someone comments a comment I made and also don't get notified when somebody comment to an answer of mine. I just tested it again with a "test user", sorry for that...
I get notifications (most times) from the lounge and also from B&S.
Is the problem on my side, wrong settings, whatelse?
Thank you in advance.

My comment is one of them what he is complaining about. But I did get the notification of his reply to me.
In my case I have only had some delays lately, but didn't miss anyone.

I can open the first level menu, but tapping any item simply selects it and doesn’t show the respective sub menu. Tapping again sometimes shows the sub menu, but also triggers the item’s click handler. Tested with Safari and Firefox.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

I use Chrome on my iPad for preference. But I just tried with Safari and the menus work just the same as on the laptop.

I have changed my email address, but my old address will still receive an email subscription

Sorry about that. We have changed how we manage subscriptions, and this use case got missed.
I'll send you and email to get the old email address and fix it up for you.

Does it really make sense when I delete something from my profile blog to keep the message "Message Removed"?

Imagine your a spammer or troll and you post something bad. It gets removed by you (to hide evidence) or someone else (via report). Other members or admins may step in to moderate the account itself. By still having those messages available for admins and moderators they can see what's going on.
Which raises the second question: why not show the deleted only to admins/moderators? The reason is we currently store in cache only one version of all the threads in each forum. This cache has each message listed in order, so it needs to have all potentially viewable messages. We could filter out all the non-viewable messages but then we may be left with less than a page full. We could then request 2 pages of messages and show only 1 page, but what if the forum has 5 pages of deleted messages? (It's happened!).
So we could filter out messages that should be removed and then just keep requesting and requesting until we fill up a page, but we'd have to take a gamble: we assume no more than 20%, at worst, messages are bad, request the extra 20% and 99% of the time we get enough messages for a full page. In rare cases we have to keep requesting, and then we monitor to see if there is a forum with really high density of bad messages and go in and fix.
There are always optimisations that can be made. Many we simply haven't prioritised at this point.
cheers
Chris Maunder

It appears to have been a cache refresh issue. I’ve forced a refresh on your blog and things seem better now.
