hi,
I imported an article from GitHub and couple of days later I pushed my recent commits to GitHub. However, I can't see any changes of article content on Code Project.
Shouldn't it be automatically updated after commit to GitHub?
Please help.
Best regards,
Adam.

There were several issues with imported GitHub projects, so I believe automated activities related to GitHub are on hold while the area is being reworked. For example, see GitHub project issues.

There's a new version 13-Feb-20 12:38 which shows some changes in content from the previous version updated at 12-Feb-20 5:24. Is this the update you're referring to?

Latest revision (8) of article Feb 13 contains my latest changes I made manually using Code Project editor. It should be marked as "publicly available" (currently the previous revision 7 has this mark) because actually it is publicly visible.
Feb 12 I pushed my last commit to GitHub. However, it didn't change the article content on Code Project, I noticed that GitHub webhook returned HTTP response code 500. The same day, couple minutes later I only changed headers of the article by Code Project editor. The next day Feb 13 I tried to manually redeliver GitHub webhook but without success (HTTP error 500 again). So I decided to make the changes manually on Code Project directly.
Kind regards,
Adam.

Thanks for the detailed info. I'm looking over the logs now and will see if we can find the culprit.

I don't use ad blocker software. Actually, I use but I've whitelisted codeproject site. I've tried to change my password from Firefox, Chrome and Edge. Process seems succeeded but when I try to log out and in again, new password doesn't work. I must add, I've recently used "forgot my password" and a new temporary password sent to my mailbox. The mail says I should change it, but I couldn't.

I have the same problem too, waiting for the answer!

I've confirmed that this is happening. We'll get right on that.

On the settings page -- you've got to be kidding! You need to enter a your password, but the fields are in a popup that keeps disappearing. I've tried it on IE11 and Chrome. After numerous attempts, I was able to change my settings.
Please consider having password/new password directly on the settings page. The popup is cute but doesn't work well at all.

I've noticed that Python is not one of the Language Categories. Given the growing use of Python, particularly in AI and ML, is there a chance that Python and related information might be added?

We've literally just had a discussion on this.
So: yes, absolutely.

I cannot moderate messages in comments of publications anymore. Has there been changes in moderation rights lately?
"Five fruits and vegetables a day? What a joke!

|
|
|
Do you mean that you can't accept/reject messages from the Moderation Page?
OR
Do you mean you can't flag messages in the forum attached to an article?
"Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana."

|
Second option: I had lost the moderation tool at the lower right corner of messages in forums attached to an article. I just opened one to make a screenshot, but now the problem is gone.
To be really clear: I only had the 'Get permanent link' icon; 'Bookmark this' and the moderation flag had disappeared.
Case closed, then

After I pressed "Logout from other places"
a.) It logged me out from CP (on the machine I was working).
b.) After browser restart I always need to login again (I have checked "Remember me" in my settings)
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

There's a different issue that we're seeing: When you hit "log me out from other places" it logs you out from other places, but if you close the current browser you're logged out on that browser too (we're being too aggressive)
However, in our testing we can log back in, and persist that login, every time.
Are you blocking cookies? Any ad blocking software installed?
cheers

"... you're logged out on that browser too(we're being too aggressive)":
No issue for me, login once again is ok.
"However, in our testing we can log back in, and persist that login, every time.":
That is not the case at the moment for me.
"Are you blocking cookies?": No
"Any ad blocking software installed?":
Yes since a longer time and it never affected the login or other things on CP and of course CP is in the white list.
Anyway thank you for your answer, my intention was that you maybe have a hint. Let's see, maybe the problem disapears with time.

Try disabling the ad blocker and logging in and seeing if that works (then re-enable at your discretion)

At home on my laptop without any ad blocker I have the same issue
...but: login and _explicitly logout_ and login again seems to solve the issue
Thanks a lot for your time.

The categories / subcategories aren't loading properly and the formatting of the title and subheader sections is way off. I didn't dare try to submit anything with it like that so i'm not sure if that even works or not.
Update: I can't reproduce the problem anymore. The subcategories section wasn't loading for me before. Now it's fine. The formatting is still weird though.
Update: I can't repro the first problem and the second one was my mistake, not an actual error. Sorry for wasting your time with this

Can you please paste a screenshot of the formatting issue you're seeing?
There was an update over the weekend which was tested on Chrome, Firefox and Edge (windows) and Chrome / Safari (Mac) and I couldn't see any issues or errors.
Make sure you have ad blockers (esp the vandal app uBlock) disabled) and hit Ctrl+F5 to force a refresh and let me know.

Shoot I forgot to delete this comment. You folks apparently have changed the layout of the wizard a little, and I thought it was a formatting error at first.

Ha! I didn't mean it like that.
I was just too quick to report this. That's all.
