On the article submission page, there is a link to an article submission template, which is a ZIP file that contains an HTML file that can be used to edit an article in a file hosted locally on a computer. Some things I noticed:
- It contains an invalid URL to the CSS. I looked at the source of one of my articles to find a working link to a CSS file.
- Given a working link to a CSS file, the article styles don't look right. I had to add a div with a class ("container-article") on it to make the H2 look orange.
- The HTML editor I am using (WebStorm) says that some of the CSS attributes in the inline CSS in the HEAD are invalid, because they are uppercase. For example, it didn't like "BACKGROUND-COLOR", but it was OK with "background-color".

Hi
I've tried repeatedly to recover my password. Each time it comes up with an error about cookies not being allowed.
I tested on multiple machines. Other websites on these machines had no issue setting cookies.
(And I've created this account because I couldn't use my original account... apparently my browsers can be used to create NEW accounts!)

Even though the temporary password page indicates there is an error, it should still send you the email (our apologies we are working to fix this). Did you receive it OK? Is it in your spam folder? And are you using the temporary password within the hour?

I suspect it has to be a problem with his system, since I can D/L the files he can't, but he can D/L from other sites.
Maybe there is something up with his account, I doubt it, but...

I would like to suggest you one thing that might improve our code project site.
After reading one article i though to take its printout. But for that I have to copy it to word document to avoid left side adds and other links, If you can introduce facility to print article.

The only issue with Markdown is that it can cause grief with our HTML editor. Article content is stored as HTML, so editing in Markdown means converting from HTML to Markdown. I do have a HTML-Markdown converter written (but not fully tested), but another option is to say that if an article starts out in Markdown then it stays in Markdown.

I dont see a link to code project TV in Chrome or firefox using a fixed layout from the Code Project home page . Windows 7 PC . Also I would expect to be able to click the lounge in the short message list on the right and go to the lounge , I can only click the specific message . But the TV one is VERY frustrating . As someone eager to try , but not knowing anything about codeproject TV , the only way I could get there was to select a video I did not want and then look at the URL .
