I like it because it provides a list of all recent articles with smaller thumbnails and without special topic headings (Python, IoT...).

Differences between the current home page and Beta[^]:

CodeProjectAI "ad" missing on Beta
"g+" Visit us on Google+ button on Beta but not on home page
"Get the Daily Insider" vs "Sign Up to our Daily Insider" (different headings and text)
Beta Testers' Forum is a blank page

The articles on the beta main page are in one column (instead of two columns).

Profile images are no longer being constrained to the size of the container. For example, on this spam account[^]:

I am attempting to upload a new profile image . All my attempts have failed . I have attempted the following file types jpeg jpg gif . All are smaller than 500K . Is the feature broken ?

Article Submission Import From Github

I tried to import a project from github as an article. I have a README.md file in my main repo.

I get an error from codeproject when i try to import:

'This repository doesn't appear to have a Readme to import'.

I also tried renaming the README.md to -> Readme.md, but i still get same error.

Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

Perhaps the hamsters are getting confused by the branch names? The import form refers to the "master" branch, but newer projects are created with a "main" branch instead.

I run in portrait mode for Chrome, and the home page is getting to look odd:

It's easy to duplicate even on a landscape monitor: open Chrome on the home page without it in full screen mode.
Pull the right edge in until you have just the articles displayed, and you have a scroll bar at the bottom.
Refresh the page. The scroll bar disappears, and everything starts to overlap. It seesm to be related to the length of the article name?

The "Load More" on home page gets confused if pressed more than twice. I'm pressing it on the "Just Published" section. When clicking on it, I get multiple copies of the same articles.

An article appears for each of its updates. But as you load more articles, I noticed that some articles that were updated more recently than others began to appear.

EDIT: This might be due to the fact that articles seem to be ordered by first column, then second column.

On the home page, if you click the "All" button for selecting articles, these groupings appear:

- Just Published
- Python
- Artificial Intelligence
- IoT

Why do Python, AI, and IoT get their own sections when the other 7 options that follow them do not? I'd suggest just showing the last n articles posted rather than devoting sections to specific topics. Sure, you can click "Following" instead, but then you'll miss articles that might have interested you.
