Restore SQL Server Backup file to SQL Server Compact DB.

Hi All,

Can we restore backup file taken by SQL Server (i.e.*.bak) to SQL Server Compact database or convert .bak file to .sdf file in any way? or any tools available for such activities?

Sure. Since it is just a file, you can copy the file to make a backup, then copy it back to restore it.

Solution 2

Sql Server Compact database is actually a file based database like Access. So you need to just take backup of the file and then paste it back to restore it.

No need to go for any specific tool to do this. ;)
