Chris is the Co-founder, Administrator, Architect, Chief Editor and Shameless Hack who wrote and runs The Code Project. He's been programming since 1988 while pretending to be, in various guises, an astrophysicist, mathematician, physicist, hydrologist, geomorphologist, defence intelligence researcher and then, when all that got a bit rough on the nerves, a web developer. He is a Microsoft Visual C++ MVP both globally and for Canada locally.   His programming experience includes C/C++, C#, SQL, MFC, ASP, ASP.NET, and far, far too much FORTRAN. He has worked on PocketPCs, AIX mainframes, Sun workstations, and a CRAY YMP C90 behemoth but finds notebooks take up less desk space.   He dodges, he weaves, and he never gets enough sleep. He is kind to small animals.   Chris was born and bred in Australia but splits his time between Toronto and Melbourne, depending on the weather. For relaxation he is into road cycling, snowboarding, rock climbing, and storm chasing.

I direct The Code Project's business activities, such as strategic direction, partnerships, and vendor relations. I started photo-etching circuit boards when I was 8, and at 11 was haunting the halls and computer science labs at the local college so much that I was invited by Professor Wayne Ayott to audit his software and hardware design courses.   Over my career I have used C# , C++, Win32, MFC, Assembler, Basic, and Clipper, on applications for the military, commercial ventures, medical research and the labour movement. Through my medical informatics work I came to know what real-time and mission-critical really mean… just try being part of the critical path when a woman goes into labor.    I have been honoured to receive many business, industry and leadership awards including being named an Exceptional Young Entrepreneur (Profit Magazine) and to the list of Who's Who in Canadian Business. I find myself spending a lot of time these days thinking about the world our children will inherit, and so have been paying a lot of attention to alternative energy (wind, solar), robotics, education and (for the first time in my life) politics.

Ghazi H. Al Wadi. His friends call him Raz. (His kids call him yoba )   He has been programming since the late 1980's, Making money from Software development is a different story.   Ghazi Graduated Magna Cum Laude in BSTM from Herzing College Madison, WI after finishing a diplome (With Honor Mentioned) in DDA from Herzing College, Ottawa, ON. Prior to that, Ghazi attended a continuing education program in Computer Engineering Technology at Algonquin College, Ottawa, ON.   Ghazi (Raz) Joined Dundas Software On 1997 where he was fortunate to work with the best of the best in software development. He led the development of 3 versions of Ultimate TCP/IP ( before it went Open source) until 2002 when he accepted an overseas job offer in the healthcare sector.... sometimes dusty, oh, well! Ghazi is crazy about off-roading, but hates drifting. Ghazi is PMI Certified PMP. and ASQ Certified SSGB. He Holds a Second Dan Black belt in Taekwondo. He practiced Moo Kwan Tea Kwon Do Under GM.
