i think its pretty simple
*the key behind this kind of software is that you have a fixed size of the picture taken and will have fixed position of head
* the image for the hair with transparent rest area will be drawn over base head image
first take a image with basic frame the head of the person
then draw hair image over it
** customization tips
1 can have multiple head shape frames
2 can have resize option for hair image
3 according to the time you have you can do many things (just imagine )
i am currently downloading the demo so wait for other responces

but i think this project is too small to give as a final year project

you should increase utils in the program (its for your benefit - practice)
till now this program (just taking two or more images and resizing them accordingly ) is a game of an hour or so
*go through the guide of the software you pointed and you will find a lot more to do like using scissors(eraser) , comb(smudge) , sharpen , blurring etc there is lot of good stuff
*and you should also capture final image and give it as output to the user
*you can do more than just changing hair style (adding funny frames , nice/funny dresses for people and much more)
and it can all be done in c#
but if you want to go in that you need to go deep into image basics

Once again I have a problem!!!!!!! I m using 2 pictiurebox one 4 the face image and 1 for the hairstyle.... But cannot do brightnessa nd contrast on both picture boxes. I have also tried drawing the image instead of picture box but It isn't working tooo. Wht will u recomment to use picture box or draw them???????
And one thing more plz recomment me any book from where I can get help in this project...........

for adjusting the brightness / contrast you should edit the image respectively

we are doing a project for streaming video over the network in c#.net.
it is a client-server based model. the server sends bytestream to the client and stores it in the memory(memorystream). we are planning to use the directshow functions to play the video.
the renderfile function plays videos from a location in the hard drive. what we want is to play the video data streamed over the network directly from the memory of the client computer. this is really important, so please help us

You can use the MailMessage Object to fill the from, to, subject, address. and then use the smtpclient object to set the SMTP server to be used and to send the mail Message.

well i have made this app long back.. so here is the details..
first include namespace
using System.Web.Mail;
then follow these steps :-
MailMessage mail = new MailMessage();
mail.From = from;
mail.To = to;
mail.Subject = sub;
mail.Body = body;
SmtpMail.SmtpServer = server;
SmtpMail.Send(mail);

In my application…I am trying to add data received on comport in a rich text box. Rich text box is on second form & my SerialPort.datareceived event is on first form. Here is my sample code…

private void port_DataReceived(object sender, SerialDataReceivedEventArgs e)

f2.Controls[0].Invoke(new EventHandler(delegate{f2.Controls[0].AppendTextReceivedData);}));
}
But I am getting error on the staement-
f2.Controls[0].AppendText(ReceivedData);
Error is - ('System.Windows.Forms.Control' does not contain a definition for 'AppendText')
I have only one rich textbox control on form2…
What is the problem…why I am unable to access "Appendext" method for the rich text box on ‘form2’ from 'form1'

test two point:
1, is the RichTextBox in f2 accessable? use public test it again.
2, f2.Controls[0] is a control. if you can sure it is a RichTextBox, then test these

I tried with u told...
But my richtextbox in f2 is not accessable from f1...Although declared it as public.
& RichTextBox's TabIndex is 0...

Statement should me like this...
f2.Controls[0].Invoke(new EventHandler(delegate{f2.Controls[0].AppendText(ReceivedData);}));
& i am getting error on this staement for AppendText method...

Hi!
If you read the error message (that's usually the prerequisite for finding out what's wrong ) you'll see that the compiler tells you that Control doesn't have a method AppendText.
The Controls collection holds Controls, not RichTextBoxes, so the error message can be explained easily.
Use ((RichTextBox)f2.Controls[0]).AppendText(...) to get rid of the compiler error.
But keep in mind that the code above is bad style. It's easy to add another control to the form and suddenly your RichTextBox isn't Controls[0] anymore - an InvalidCastException will result.
I think it's better to explicitely expose the RichTextBox as a property of f2.
