I posted an answer in this question[^], and received 3 x +5 votes, plus answer accepted as solution. JSOP received 1 x +5 vote (from me) not accepted as solution, and yet he is above me in the Top Rated order. I think maybe the maths need some adjustment.

These maths are correct in the JSOP space-time.
Or you have been a victim of the weighting of the votes: Your 5 has more weight than three newbies' 5s. Call that shooting yourself in the foot.

It's hard for me to tell what happened at the time but it seems to be ordering correctly now. Chances are it was a caching issue.
For reference, the ordering of answers is:
ORDER BY IsAcceptedAnswer DESC, Score DESC, DatePosted ASC
