I expected the article to be pointless drivel and was not disappointed.

The UI apparently is not too mouse friendly, so will take longer to get things done, so really do not need the performance.

Word of warning Windows ME also booted faster.
Also I have to question the Windows 8 release as win 7 is fairly new , and also can microsoft look me in the eye honestly and tell me why the small trivial features added to win 8 (and all the incompatabilities to come) actually warranted a brand new operating system
