Hi,
I had prepared a basic programming for C#. It has 350+ pages, it is most useful for reference and startup for the beginner programmers. I want post that book in CP. How can I do that?

Have you tried the "Add your own alternative version" link in the menu on the left-hand side of the article?

Thanks it works fine,
but I have found article that solves same problem
in different way, somwhere on the Internet
and I just want to leave the URL adress that leads to
that article that could be alternative,
not to write my own solution.

There are two snippets that are not rendering correctly.

The article system can only handle some HTML in code blocks; other HTML is escaped. Bold, italics and underline works, and span-tags only work if they have highlight or emphasis as class.
The quick red ProgramFOX jumps right over the Lazy<Dog>.

Actually it looks like it's still not highlighted. Sometimes the article editor gets mad at me when I try to highlight inside <pre> tags. I can try again if you'd like.

The next time I want to do something really sophisticated like highlighting a word, I'll create an image and use that.

What does CodeProject management think of web sites (e.g. www.tuicool.com) that scrape CodeProject for articles and post them on their own sites?
My most recent article was posted on CodeProject less than nine hours before Google told me it was on www.tuicool.com.

I have recently write tips regarding "Host WCF on LocalHost and access via Internet" and I placed images with text into it, but don't know why images not showing on article. I have updated it many times but still it is not showing..

To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to write an CodeProject article.
Can I embed Youtube video, and if yes how can I do it ?
I have tried copying the iframe element but it does not show up.
If I can not can I at least use preview images as links to the Youtube videos.
Again image as links does not seem to work either.

We can do this but only manually (ie contact submit@codeproject.com directly or include a note to the editor at the end of the article submission page) but we're working on allowing this to be accessible by authors.

Hi,
I submitted one article which disappeared. Unfortunately I drafted and saved that article only on CodeProject web site and I don't have any other copy of it. I saved article many times and edited it multiple times over many days. When I click on submit it disappeared from all places.
Article title: .Net Framework Stack
Please somebody help me to recover it.
Let me know who is the right person.

I don't think anybody else, but a SysAdmin of the CodeProject would help you in this scenario.
But mostly, you won't get that article back and believe it to be gone!

How the nominations for article of the month is being done? If author has to nominate by himself, then how to do it?

Article of the month is primarily based on how popular your article is. This is a weighted score, so votes from people with a higher reputation count far more than someone who set an account up today.

Is it based on reputation or based on votes?
|
|
|

The votes received forms a large part of it - but, as I said, these votes are weighted.
