Regarding elections, I tend to agree with George Carlin.

There's no point in voting under this system. Both parties have taken for granted that they have the authority to steal anything they wish from whoever they wish; the R-Tards and the D-Bags just differ philosophically on what those stolen resources should be spent on. As some may know, im currently studying. I am working on my "final project" (I didn't find a better word since in Germany you have to write a professional dissertation (is this the correct word for a scientific report of what you've done or invented?) and i remember that this is not the case in other states?). Never the less im doing it at a company i used to work in free time, having a pretty damn good project to work on (basicly writing a MS Project that fits to Automotive SPICE), there is no software fitting to our purpose, thats why im doing my self.
But im going to get crazy, on the one hand i should work on that darn application, on the other i should write that scientific whatever. While we are deep in programming and doing it like its done in the real world, plans... f**k that we do it! (Well sort of, i made a concept that got approved) I should write down what i thought while programming, and scientifically (What/Why/How/...). Now im trying to recreate the cunstruct i had in my head before starting to program and try to explain why the heck i did it like that. I tink my design is good but why did i do it like that, because... well because! And whats even worse is that very important decisions i should explain got decided because the company said yep we do it like that.
Im basically writing here now cause i need a short break to reassemble my brain. Im hoping i get some more ideas of what to write down and how to explain it while reading any answers.
Still got 80 pages to go and barely three months left to write...

See, that's why I stick to fiction... When I'm in the middle of a novel, I can write 80 pages in a week. Non-fiction is just too annoying... Gotta research and fact check and blah blah blah... Fiction is great... It doesn't have to make sense, as long as it's internally consistent...

It was, at first... I actually have about 15-20 copies of each of the first two in paperback. Trouble is, unless you go mass-market (Print runs of 10k+ copies), you have to do print-on-demand.
POD is like 3D printing versus an assembly line... It's slower and more expensive, but you can do one-offs. The price is the problem, since no one wants to pay $16 for a paperback fiction novel...
So when those didn't sell for a few years, I took them out of print, as they were costing me a little each year to keep them available. Never bothered going dead-tree with books 3 and 4, after seeing the lack of success with the first two.

Dissertation is the correct word to use for the report/project that you do at the end of a university course, usually carrying a significant proportion of the marks available - it does not have to be scientific. My daughter has just submitted her dissertation on copyright exemptions in the EU for her Masters degree in International Business Law.
