We don't version forum messages so without knowing who the original author is I can't change it.
I have fixed the code, though, so it won't happen again.
Out of interest, was there a reason an edit needed to be made? (I'm curious as to how your new found powers are finding uses for Good)

It was largely a test on my part. The code blocks were a bit messed up so I thought I would try and make them look neater. At the bottom of the edit page it said "post as: name" where name was the OP's name (and the other information that Dave Auld reported to you). So when I pressed Post I expected the OP's name to remain but it changed it to me.

I just noticed that (recently?) there is a link added 'discuss' when reporting an item.
This link however takes you to the moderator forum, that's probably very useful when reporting a article, but when reporting a profile (spammer) it would probably be better that it takes you to the 'spam & abuse' forum.
Just a small thing, nothing big, no need to yell 'STOP the presses' or anything like that

Not sure how this is possible given that there's no way to select whether you choose spam or abuse without triggering the callback. I could have links to both forums I guess...

I think you misunderstood.
The difference is not in what you choose (spam or abuse) but in what you are reporting (profile or article or QA).
When reporting an article it makes sense that the link goes to the moderators forum.
But when reporting an member profile I think it makes more sense to go to the spam and abuse forum.
For a Q/A question I'm not sure yet what the more logical forum to go to but my first thought would also be the spam and abuse forum since the moderators forum is for articles as I understand it.

OK, that's a fair point. I was thinking more along the lines that there may be (and have been) discussions on a specific member and their posts. Someone submitting a spammy blog, or someone constantly posting poor quality stuff, for instance. There may be a discussion on how to moderate their contributions as a whole. However, I think this is the minor case when you're reporting a specific member and you're right: the major case for the report flag on a profile will be in discussing a user's behaviour, not their contributions.

We can only hope for a day when this is no longer the case

At home page search for this subject there is a line that says: Download source and binary - 287.47 KB (in violet color).
I downloaded the program and there is no source code.
Is a good job done but when editing the output there is this lines:1 Displaying the data read from the sector (in hexadecimal, output redirection can also work)
2 Output Data
3 first block
4 Output Data
6 next blocks...
a) The blocks all end with line 1
b) these text at end could be "sector xx" where xx is the sector number.
(I try to look at forum but did not find where to put this and I think this is not a programming question. The program works but no source at all).

It seems you refer to Reading and Writing to Raw Disk Sectors[^].
You should always post in the article forum. It is not only for programming questions but for all article related questions. The author is usually the only one who can answer your questions.
I have checked the download and found two source files inside with corresponding header files: sector.c and sector_io.c. It seems that these are the complete sources.

I tried unsubscribing the Research Library and not sure how, my "Professional" icon is gone. So I subscribed the library again but nothing... 
I checked all required fields for "Pro" status (marked with a red '*'), but all of them were there. Can you please check and let me know the field(s) that caused this?

It's part of the Research Library: we send notifications of new items posted that match items that members have already downloaded. However, we're making sure it's all wrapped into a formal mailing list so we can provide a simple way for everyone to remove themselves from any of these emails.
And how on Earth do you spot rep changes so quickly??
