In the UK in recent times any mention of Jews liking money draws condemnation from various Jewish groups claiming it is antisemitic.
The FA lumps antisemitism in with racism in its rules and has started charging anyone within football who even makes reference to the stereotype.
It's all a bit silly.

All the subject is problematic if it meant to be an INSULT and not a JOKE...

I'm not sure that implying that if you're Jewish, you are smarter than the Catholics is an insult to Jews?!!!

Reminds me of a story I read as a child more than 35 years ago in a children's magazine called Chandamama in India.
Two fruit sellers having their individual push-carts sell fruits in front of a school in a village. One of them charges double the price per fruit than the other. Everyone crowds around and buys from the one selling for lesser price, whereas the other one has no buyer at all.
What the children do not know is that they are brothers, and this is their selling strategy. Even the brother selling for less was a bit costly compared to the fruits sold in the nearby market - so overall they made profit everyday.

It's all I wanted for Christmas. Of course I won't send back the waffle maker either.
Today I found out how to get rid of the Lock Screen.  There are still other "features" I'd like to remove as well.

So it's a middling Weven update for the price of a new operating system. Like I didn't see that coming.
MS ain't so dumb. A failed OS rakes in billions for them, for minimal overall change.

Windows 10 is only a name to help to forget the fiasco of 8 - it is not more than 8.2, or what 8 should be at the first place. But! It works good as 7 does!!!

The title is misleading - the bargain is WITHIN the first year...So update early and you will get it free, wait for SP1 and you will pay...

I find it awesome. Who has the balls nowadays to say "OK, we made crap, let's listen to our users and get it back" ?
The next question is : why should it _always_ have breakthroughs and highly innovative features ? Why this quest to novelty ? Win7 works and is awesome, Win8 works and, let's put the debate about start menu and tiles appart for a minute, one of the most stable and quick OS I have ever had on my computer. What do I need more ?

Well, that concept with the application running in windows has some advantages, so I would not want to go back to dos.
I truly miss autoexec.bat and config.sys, though. Having startup menus with the different memory management was a hassle, but you could really manage every detail of it and that was great. Now this all happens while "Welcome" is displayed on my screen and I have no way to influence it whatsoever.

Because otherwise isn't it just the same as Windows 7? Then what's the point in releasing a "new" version? Even more importantly for Microsoft, why should users upgrade?
Unless Windows is the perfect operating system there's always room for improvement, but they need to concentrate on giving us things we need, not deviating off on some marketing department led nonsense.
Apple manage to add new (and generally useful) functionality in each major release and OSX is a highly polished product - I personally think Microsoft need to buckle down and get on with doing the same with Windows, before it's too late.

I mean, look at what Windows has been achieving in the last decades : This system is able to run on billions of different setups, can be tweaked to the last bit, etc, etc... Apple is doing a very good job, no question about that, but the requirements cannot be compared !

You say that like it's a bad thing
I've come around to thinking that Microsoft trying to be all things to everyone, trying to cover every possible market (poorly in many cases) is what's actually causing it problems.
Apple's principle of keeping tight control of the hardware is starting to look like a wise move. Microsoft isn't free to make major changes to it's products, it's at the mercy of whatever cheap and nasty PC manufacturers put out (much like Android).
