Spam to me.......my personsal opinion of course, especially when it is a first message on the day they joined with that type of content.

Their bio is an advertisement in and of itself, IMHO.

I'd agree - but Chris isn't averse to a small amount of that - pride in your company and what it does is fine, and it doesn't link to the company, so it's subtle enough. There are a lot more blatant company plugs in bios already. I'd say give him a chance, see what he does with it.

Well, clearly not.
If he had he'd be flipping burgers or working in a recruitment agency...

Hi OG,
But how did you know that he is a spammer, i mean i am not challenging you. Its just curiosity because i do get weird mails but never paid attention
Thanks,

I don't - I just suspect that he is, or will be if given a chance.
It's platitudes, no real value or new stuff, and his user name and profile indicate he is a recruiter. It's his first post, and he just joined.
Which means it's a "practiced piece" intended to make us think of him as "competent" (which given he's a recruiter is highly unlikely).
While this contains no spam, it's clearly meant to establish that the company he works for is good, interested in the recruit rather than just the money (which is even less likely).
So...a warning shot rather than an outright report-and-clobbering session as he could be innocent, and a really good recruiter. There must be one out there, mustn't there? Please?

This all sounds to me like a bunch of BS written by some self-important a-hole who thinks I want to live my life the way he thinks it ought to be like.
I'll bet he's even written a book or two on the subject.

Pass the vomit bag; I'm going to blow some chunks.
Seriously, these barf-inducing 'aphorisms' are fine for, well, nothing.
Way to blow your reputation before you really get going.

Backups. Lots of backups. Lots and lots of backups. And then back them up.
Far more important than source control.

Oh, I feel sooo inspired now!
But seriously, "unlimited human resources" (from profile) is just a slight overstatement right?

That's hilarious: on a project now to use Web.API with some 300 legacy asp classic applications. It is quite good fun, though really weird looking back at the old stuff, especially when it was written by, by the looks of it, 300 different programmers each of whom had a very different idea of how to deliver data to the page!
