Try

CultureInfo local = CultureInfo.CurrentCulture;
int day = (int)DateTime.Now.DayOfWeek;
txtDay.Text = local.DateTimeFormat.DayNames[day];

Display this day in the textbox.

Hi All,

I've been using DotNetOpenAuth in my MVC / WebAPI solutions for a while now and I've attempted to upgrade to MVC5 and WebAPI2 twice now and due to so many issues with DotNetOpenAuth I've failed both times to get it all working.

Since this project seems to be either dead or moving at a horrifically slow pace what are the alternatives for both a client and server solution?

I'm stumped at how some people seem to have gotten it to work as I'm failing miserably.

I am asked to find out if it is possible to switch the gateway inside my app that has the IE web control. I have a program that allows terminal users log into data service sites and get data back. The problem is that I need to change the gateway so that the data service comes from 2 gateway different gateways.

I am exporting a data table to Excel, but my row height get wildly large, how can this be changed to actually set the row height?

use EPPLUS. You can easily set a DataTable object to Excel (2007 and newer) and Fully layout your sheet.
Heights, fonts, colors and much much more.

In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

In String Builder When we change the variable value then it does not create new object,It modify again and again same object,but in string if we modify the string variable value then it again and again create a object.So if we have to update string again and again then recommended to use String Builder always.

If you are using Windows OS than u need to install Visual Studio and Sql Express.if u have UNIX or iOS than u need to install mono.

Whenever we create an enterprise level apllications then we break the entire architecture into different layes like UI (user interface) layer, Entities (containing plain classes)Layer, DAL(Data access layer) and Service layer. Now, as u asked, all the data base related logic like--
1> to access database
2> to perform CRUD operations
3> to create instance of database objects.
All these logics are written in data access layer for the purpose of seperation of concerns and to provide more robust and neater code.

DAL is part of Factory Model in asp.net.there is have model 、BLL and website item.

In China ,A Programmer dev a tool ,that can use hid tool generate DAL BLL and Model，when soft generate the code,you want It needs fine-tuning a litter.can save more time.

Normally you display a pure PDF page as a page.
I suppose you can can display a PDF page as an image element, but you might have to create a PDF thumbnail, in which I haven't figured out how to do yet.
You can also add buttons to a PDF document to perform certain functions like print, and hyperlinks to move to sections of the page.

But combining HTML with a PDF may be tough to do, I don't think it can be done.
I searched and found nothing.
