Thanks very much for posting this. I was interested and wondered about that exact issue, since I have the Rev B.


It's not exactly surprising. It's not just that the rPI2 is much more capable hardware; but the original model uses the obsolete ARMv6 instruction set, and would require a lot more work on the part of the compiler team to get running. The new model uses ARMv7 which the Windows Phone people have spent years getting running well already and have done much of the porting work for the kernel already.
